Geran Raath is a skilled Steadicam operator with over 7 years experience in the film industry and extensive training in various aspects of film production. Having attended the Vaal Triangle University of Technology, the Motion Picture Academy and AFDA (African Film Drama Arts), his expertise is multi-layered.
Geran first fell in love with the Steadicam during his years of study. The versatility and ultra-smooth motion afforded by the camera compelled him to pursue this skill further. In 2005 he purchased a Master Film Steadicam rig. Since then he has worked on various reputable projects including dramas, documentaries, music videos, films and live broadcast on both Film and video formats.
