Jonathan Berman is a Cape Town-based Director of Photography with over two decades of experience since training in cinematography at the Academy of Photogenic Arts. Also, a producer through his own banner, jonathanbermanfilm.com, and a Film, Video & Mobile Production lecturer, he brings a rare combination of technical craft and mentorship to every project. His freelance DOP work spans high-end commercial and streaming clients including SPUR, Netflix, Checkers and Appletiser, while his production and training work has served broadcasters, NGOs and film schools such as SAE Film Institute, BigFish Film School, eNCA and UNFPA.
