OVERVIEW

Jared Haviga is a Cape Town-based Digital Image Technician (DIT) and Phantom Technician with close to two decades in the film and television industry, working across international feature films, drama series, documentaries, reality television, music videos and commercials. He began his career at Media Film Service in 2007, where he managed South Africa's first digital data lab, Media Data Service, from 2009 to 2011, before moving into DIT work full-time in 2012. Since then he has worked on-set alongside internationally recognised cinematographers including Ellen Kuras and Glen MacPherson, on productions for Disney and National Geographic, as well as a long-running roster of international and local commercial and branded content work. Known for a meticulous, safety-conscious approach to on-set digital workflows, Jared brings rare depth across both film and digital camera systems, from ARRI and RED to Phantom high-speed cameras.    REQUEST CV
