OVERVIEW

Tristan Matthew George is a Cape Town-based Production Assistant with sound department experience, who has built a strong foundation on commercial, digital content and music video sets since 2022. He has worked across some of South Africa's busiest production houses — including MR Film, Butterfly Films, Panther Punch Productions and Flamingo Films — supporting shoots for major brands such as Heineken, Volkswagen, Mastercard, Ackermans and Pepsodent. Alongside his production work, Tristan trained in Sound Engineering at SAE and has gained on-set sound department experience as 2nd Utility Sound on the drama series 'King Shaka'. Known for his reliability, energy and quick problem-solving under pressure, he is a dependable presence on set, equally comfortable supporting fast-paced commercial shoots and longer-form productions.
