Leriche Van der Merwe is a Cape Town-based Sound Recordist with a decade of experience across commercials, features, documentaries and television. Trained through a Diploma in Sound Engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering, he has built a broad reel spanning feature films, reality television, travel and lifestyle programming, TV game shows and scripted series, alongside commercial work for brands including Adidas, Standard Bank, Takealot, Birkenstock and Peugeot. Known for his reliability, adaptability and strong work ethic, Leriche has been trusted to head up production sound on select projects, bringing a calm, detail-oriented approach to capturing broadcast-standard sound on set.
