OVERVIEW

Courtney Bridger is an emerging Cape Town-based camera operator and videographer with hands-on experience across international and local productions. An Honours graduate in Motion Picture Medium (Cinematography) from AFDA, she swept the 2023 AFDA Postgraduate Awards, taking home Best Cinematographer, Critics' Choice and Best Postgraduate Film, following undergraduate nominations in the same categories in 2022. Since 2019 she has worked her way through the camera department – from loader/2nd AC and camera trainee to focus puller/1st assistant camera, camera operator and videographer – building credits on Netflix's One Piece Season 2, Kalahari Pictures' Bird Boy, and corporate, podcast and commercial work for clients including Ogilvy, Interslab, VW, Checkers and Red Bull.
