OVERVIEW

Aviwe Kona is a Cape Town-based Spark and Production Assistant with experience spanning feature films, drama series, commercials and stills productions since 2022. Equally at home in the lighting and production departments, he has built a reputation for reliability and adaptability across South African productions, including the epic series Shaka Zulu and features such as To Catch a Killer and Kelders van Geheime. His grounding in equipment handling and set protocol saw him fast-tracked to Trainee HOD status on the feature film Somerkersfees, a mark of the trust he has earned on set early in his career.
