OVERVIEW
Yazeed Karriem is a Cape Town-based Focus Puller/1st Assistant Camera and Camera Operator with over a decade of hands-on experience in the camera department. He began his career as a Loader in 2015, progressed to Focus Puller in 2022, and moved into Camera Operating in 2024, building credits across telenovelas, television, documentary, short film and feature productions. In 2026 he completed a Cinematography Master Class with acclaimed cinematographer Trevor A. Brown, sharpening his technical grounding in lighting, lens choice, shot design and camera movement.
