OVERVIEW

André Feldmann is a production sound recordist and boom operator with two decades of on-set experience across South Africa's film, television and commercial industries. Moving into sound after starting out in camera and production department roles in the mid-2000s, he has since built an exceptionally deep body of work, recording production sound on hundreds of television commercials for major brands including Nike, Adidas, Toyota, Coca-Cola and Netflix, alongside feature films such as District 9, White Lion and A Million Colours, and international documentaries for National Geographic including Dawn of Humanity. He has also worked extensively on long-running South African drama series such as Isidingo, Binnelanders and Egoli, and on reality productions including The Apprentice SA. Known for his reliability and versatility on set, André remains one of the industry's most consistently booked sound professionals.
