OVERVIEW

Marc Bodi Brower is a Director of Photography, Lighting Designer and Director with close to two decades of experience across feature film, television drama, telenovela, commercial and reality television productions in South Africa and internationally. A member of the South African Society of Cinematographers, Marc brings a painter's eye to lighting, drawing on the chiaroscuro of the Old Masters to sculpt mood and atmosphere into every frame, and collaborates with production and set design teams from the earliest stages of a project rather than treating light as an afterthought. His work has been recognised with a SAFTA Award win for Ring of Lies, together with SAFTA nominations for Durban General+, Imbewu and High Rollers and an Emmy nomination for Scout Safari. Beyond South Africa, Marc has directed and lit productions across Nigeria and lectured on cinematography and lighting at international film festivals and workshops, reflecting a career built on both hands-on craft and mentorship of emerging camera and lighting talent.    REQUEST CV
