Melissa Hopley is a Cape Town and Johannesburg-based costume and wardrobe stylist with over a decade of experience across commercials, television series and feature films. Starting out in the film industry in 2014, she has worked her way from assistant to Head of Department across both the Costume and Art departments, and is known for polished, detail-driven styling delivered under pressure. Her credits include costume design on the kykNET feature films Ek Gee Op and Trek in Jou Maag, Head of Department work on Sketchbook Studios' Klipdrift commercial for director Ari Kruger, and costume buying on an Amazon feature film. While based abroad, she kept working remotely for the industry, building moodboards and sourcing for the Cinemax series Warrior Season 3 across Bali and Thailand — a reflection of her adaptability and international reach.
