OVERVIEW

Anton Scholtz is a South African cinematographer and photographer with over a decade of experience behind the camera. His visual style is marked by a sensitive, considered approach to light and shadow, paired with a quiet empathy for his subjects that lends his work a distinctly human character. Recent highlights include serving as Contributing DOP and Field Producer on Alex Gibney's HBO documentary MUSK (2026), lensing the feature film Klipankerbaai (2023), and directing the short film KATVIS, which earned a SAFTA nomination for Best Short Film.
