OVERVIEW

Ruy Filipe is a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist with more than three decades of experience across international feature films, television series, television movies, documentaries, television commercials, theatre productions and short films. One of South Africa's most respected costume designers, Ruy has worked on major international productions for studios and broadcasters across the UK, Europe, North America and South Africa. He is the founder of Ikaya of Costumes and is recognised for his expertise in period costume design, character-driven costume development and large-scale wardrobe management.
