OVERVIEW
Innes Botha is a Cape Town-based Boom Operator and Sound Recordist with close to two decades of experience across feature film, television, and commercial production. A graduate of AFDA’s School of Motion Picture and Drama with sound design as his major, he built his career on documentaries and television sound before moving into boom operating on major international productions. His credits include Netflix’s Siege of Jadotville, Sony Pictures’ The Woman King, A24’s How to Make a Killing, and long-running series such as One Piece and BBC America’s The Watch. Known on set for his technical precision and calm, dependable presence under pressure, Innes has worked across 1st and 2nd unit sound departments on some of the industry’s biggest productions, bringing a steady hand to fast-paced, high-stakes shoots.
